Assisting in obtaining permits, approvals, and authorizations from the Ministry of Oil, the Ministry of Environment, and other regulatory authorities, while ensuring compliance with local content requirements and international standards.

Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
Drafting and negotiating production sharing contracts (PSCs), service contracts, joint venture agreements, and concession agreements. Reviewing agreements with suppliers, contractors, and government authorities, and structuring contracts to manage risk, liability, and regulatory compliance under Iraqi law.

Public Procurement & Tender Advisory:
Advising clients on government tender processes for oil and gas projects. Ensuring proposals comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maximizing eligibility while remaining fully compliant with anti-lobbying rules. Supporting negotiation strategies and communications with government authorities.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Investments:
Conducting legal due diligence for investments, acquisitions, or joint ventures in the oil and gas sector. Advising on corporate structuring and tax-efficient investment strategies. Drafting shareholder agreements, investment contracts, and joint venture arrangements.

Government Relations & Strategic Advisory:
Providing legal guidance on interactions with government entities, ensuring all communications comply with Iraqi law.
